BBL™ Acne Treatments
Acne is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones and other substances on the skin’s oil glands, sebaceous glands, and hair follicles. Severe acne can lead to permanent scarring. Our BBL™ infrared energy allows controlled heating of the skin in a uniform, thin layer at the epidermal-dermal boundary. Forever Bare BBL™ (Laser Hair Reduction)
Forever Bare BBL™ treatments offer a safe and often permanent hair reduction treatment for most skin types. Pulsed light delivers photothermal energy to hair follicles. When treated in the active growth phase, the rapid, short pulses of light can cause the hair follicle to stop producing without harming surrounding tissue. Because not all hairs are in the same growth stage at the same time, five to six treatments are usually necessary to target all hair in the treatment site. With the specific Forever Bare BBL™ handpiece, more hairs are targeted at once, which can make the treatment faster than other laser options.
