How does Qwo Work?
Before your procedure, one of our skilled physicians or nurse practitioners may ask you to stand still while using a marker to identify your treatment areas. Next, local anesthesia will be used if desired by the patient. The QWO injections will then be administered to the targeted areas. The entire procedure can typically be performed in about ten minutes or less, depending on the number of injections needed. Following your treatment, you will be able to return home as normal but will need to follow specific aftercare instructions provided by our team.

In most circumstances, you can return to your normal activities the day following your procedure. However, we highly recommend you refrain from vigorous exercise for a couple of days to allow the treatment area the opportunity to recover. Side effects of QWO can include swelling, bruising, and tenderness at the injection sites. These symptoms are not typically severe and fade in less than a week. QWO requires three treatments performed 21 days apart and is available as a package at Plastic Surgery Group of Atlanta. It usually takes around ten weeks to experience visible results following QWO injections. Patients who maintain a healthy weight often yield the longest-lasting results.

What is cellulite?
Cellulite is the lumpy, dimpled flesh that usually appears on the thighs, hips, butt, and stomach. While cellulite is more common in women, it can also be found in men. The cause of cellulite is still unclear, but many doctors think it is fat swollen with toxins that create ripples on the surface of the skin, which may be caused by genetics, thin skin, and aging. Cellulite can be found on thin and overweight bodies, and while it is not considered a serious medical condition, it is considered undesirable and unattractive.
How long are QWO treatments?
Most treatments take only about ten minutes to complete, and there is no recovery time required. This means you can easily schedule appointments over your lunch break. Optimal results will occur around ten weeks following your injections.
Will I need additional QWO treatments?
In order to preserve and maintain your desired results, you may want to undergo touch-up QWO treatments after the initial series of injections. During your consultation at Plastic Surgery Group of Atlanta, our team will talk with you about your specific treatment plan and determine the best course of treatment for you.
