What Are the Benefits of Avéli™?
Avéli™ is one of the only cosmetic treatments – non-surgical or otherwise – that aims to remove cellulite. A common and often frustrating aesthetic concern, cellulite refers to the “dimpled” tissue that can appear on the buttocks, thighs, or elsewhere. What Does the Avéli™ Treatment Involve?
The Avéli™ treatment generally begins with the use of a local anesthetic. Your provider will then place the handheld Avéli™ device into the skin of the target area, using it to locate and gently release the septa – or fibrous bands of tissue – that are responsible for cellulite. The treatment was specially developed to identify and detach the septa with exceptional precision and accuracy.
Patients will usually see the effects of treatment after a single session, and the results have been known to last for years. You may experience certain side effects (e.g. tenderness, firmness, and bruising), but these are generally mild and should fade in the weeks following the procedure.
It is important to note that while Avéli™ can significantly ease the severity of cellulite, it cannot combat excess fat or skin laxity.
