This patient in his late twenties came to the office to discuss nose surgery with Dr. Connors. His main concerns were the length and width of his nose, the size of the dorsal hump, and difficulty breathing. Upon examination Dr. Connors recommended an Open Rhinoplasty procedure to address the cosmetic concerns along with a Septoplasty procedure to correct his breathing. During surgery, Dr. Connors brought the projection of his nose in, narrowed the bridge, and reduced the size of the dorsal hump. The patient felt as though this was a trait that "made him, him" so he did not want the dorsal hump completely shaved down. Dr. Connors also performed a Septoplasty to straighten the patient's nose and correct his breathing.
