Procedure Details

This patient came to the office to discuss a Revision Breast Augmentation procedure. She is a very active mother and wife who truly enjoys life. She had previous implants placed in 1988 and she felt like they had hardened and the shape had changed significantly between the two breasts. This patient and her husband both love her natural, curvy shape and were looking to enlarge her breasts to make her body more proportionate, top to bottom. Her left breast had become noticeably larger than her right breast, and she was looking to achieve symmetry as well as enhancement. Dr. Connors was able to use the patient's previous inframammary incision to reconstruct her breast folds and create strong, stable pockets for her new implants. In order to achieve symmetry, Dr. Connors used Mentor, Siltex - Textured, Silicone Implants. In her right breast he placed a 750cc Moderate Profile Plus implant and a 650cc Moderate Profile Plus implant in her left. The two different implants gave the patient the symmetry and volume that she was looking for. She loves her results (so does her husband) and is thrilled with her new breasts!

By using two different size implants, Dr. Connors was able to achieve the patient's goals of symmetry in her breasts and an increase in volume and upper-pole fullness. More

Preoperatively, this patient's implants had gradually migrated upwards, causing her nipples to appear dropped and pointing downwards. By reconstructing the patient's breast fold, Dr. Connors created a stable pocket for her new implants. Her breasts are now full, lifted, and her nipples are in alignment with one another. More

This patient was looking to achieve upper-pole fullness in her breasts without her nipples pointing downward. The reconstructed breast fold allowed for a larger implant than she previously had which created the volume and upper-pole fullness that she desired. More
