This patient in her mid-forties came to the office to discuss breast surgery with Dr. Connors. For years she had concerns with the size of her breasts - feeling that they were too small. After having children, she still had those same concerns but also felt as though she had lost volume causing her breasts to look "droopy." In order to address both her size and volume concerns, Dr. Connors recommended a Mastopexy (breast lift) and Breast Augmentation. During the procedure, Dr. Connors used an anchor incision (around the areola, vertically down the breasts, and at the fold of the breasts) and lifted the breasts so they sat higher on her chest. Since she did not want to be considerably larger 200cc, Moderate Profile Plus, Silicone Implants were placed under the muscle (submuscularly). The lift and the volume added by the implants took the patient from a B-Cup preoperatively to the perky C-Cup that she desired.

Prior to surgery, the patient described her breasts as "droopy." Prior to surgery, the look she had described is apparent. After the mastopexy and augmentation, the patient's breasts are lifted and full. More

The patient's concern of her breasts looking "droopy and flat" are also apparent from the angle. The breast lift addressed the excess of tissue below the areola (due to volume loss in the breasts) and the implant addressed the lack of volume in the upper-pole of the breasts.
