Jenny Azar, MS, NP-C

A native of Georgia, Jenny is a veteran of Plastic Surgery Group of Atlanta. She has been instrumental in the development and success of the practice, serving as a clinic nurse, preoperative and postoperative nurse, OR nurse, and OR director. She has been a registered nurse since 1998 and earned her Nurse Practitioner’s Degree at the University of North Georgia in 2019. Jenny started her career in the ICU and, beginning in 2000, worked in cardiology for 16 years. She has been injecting since 2016 and has undergone extensive education in injectables and laser procedures, including:

• Allergan epic master training course
• Laser physics course
• A BBL^™ Preceptorship with Sciton
• Advanced Sciton training course with Patrick Bitter, MD, FAAD (2017)
• Palette training course with Steve Yoelin, MD (2018)
• AIAM PDO thread training (2019)
• An injector anatomy and cadaver course with Chris Surek, DO, FACS (2020)
• An injection technique and jawline restoration course with Steve Weiner, MD
• Training in injection patterns and the “ferning” technique with Tom Van Eijk, MD (who invented “ferning”)
• In-office private training with Nicola Lowry, PA-C
• A masterclass with Arthur Swift, MD, CM, FRCS (September 2023)
